What’s is the difference between Embroidery and Printing?
Embroidery refers to clothing that has a pattern or logo stitched into its fabric.

Printing is when a design or logo is printed directly onto the garment
We Recommend using printing for:
For complex and/or larger designs
It is great for medium to large quantities
Printing creates a sharp and well defined image
How will I receive my artwork proof?
Embroidery – We stitch a sample every time we do a new logo. The customer can approve their logo in person or we will email you a picture for your approval.
Print – We are happy to do a proof of you artwork. But there is a higher cost in making a proof so there is a charge of £20.00 (excluding VAT).
What formats do you except for artwork/logos?
Embroidery – We except any picture of your logo/image but the better the quality the easier we can covert your image into stitches.
Printing – We accept Vector , psd, .tiff, .eps, .png, .jpg. We recommend using vector files if possible as they give us the best opportunity to reproduce your logo/image.
Which application method is best for my order?
Embroidery, offers a more luxurious finish with the ability to produce one offs to large orders that remains looking good for a long time. Once the logo has been digitised (turned into stitches) ,for which there is a one off set up charge, it is held on file and can be used as many times as you require and can be used on anything that can be embroidered . Colours can be changed at no extra cost and can be used on one or as many as many items as you like.
Print has the ability to produce detailed vibrant colours best suited for orders of more than 10 and best for larger logos. Not all fabrics can be printed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We try to ensure the shortest possible delivery time.
In order to be able to offer you a fast delivery service, many orders will be dispatched within hours. This means that unfortunately it is not always possible to cancel your order.
Expenses are incurred once an order is placed with us including artwork production, ordering of materials, and placement of orders with vendors which are subject to their cancellation or restocking policies and charges. If an order is cancelled once placed, Ravenspring reserves the right to charge for artwork fees, restocking costs and any other expenses incurred by us between the time we received your payment and the cancellation request was received.
Can I return Embroidered or Printed items?
Our goal is one-hundred percent customer satisfaction, so if you are unhappy with your order please contact us. As we provide personalised goods, however, we cannot accept returns unless we have made a mistake or the garments are faulty. Please return any faulty goods to us within 30 days of receipt for investigation. Please be aware The Distance Selling Regulations Act of 2000 does not apply to “personalised goods or goods made to a consumer’s specification”.
How many colours can I have?
Embroidery – you can have up o 15 colours
Printing – as many colours as you like
What is Digitising?
Digitising is taking your logo/image and converting it into a stitch format that the embroidery machines can read and covert into stitches to create your logo. There is a one time fee per logo.
